After months of planning and preparing ,the long waited weekend came around. After I done the airport runs so I can pick up the founder and creator of Keysi -Justo Dieguez- and Master Instructor from International Team -Bogdan Suciu- on Thursday, really looked forward to the next day. And Friday quickly showed up, and what a lovely day it was. Was brilliant to see my fellow instructors and friends, and spend together with this bunch a long seven but absolutely well worth it, hours of intense training. Saturday creped in quickly too and Edinburgh hosted the first official Keysi Fighting Method by Justo Dieguez Open Workshop , that turned out to be a real success, stress gone for me ?. Had the pleasure to meet and train with some lovely, open minded people that not only that they enjoyed every second of training but they also been amazed about the fighting method that Justo developed for over 40 years. The feedback was absolutely 10 stars. The most common feedback from the attendees-David, Angus, Thomas, Tommy, James, Dave- to name a few, was highlighted in the following words: Keysi is mind blowing, different and an absolute eye opener towards the reality of the streets. Keysi is wow, is just something else, so complex yet so effective, so real and created in such way that anyone , regardless of age and fitness level, can train it. Overall the Workshop was a success, everyone was really happy, we all had a brilliant time and we all enjoyed every second of having Justo Dieguez and Bogdan Suciu with us and sharing with us their knowledge and passion for Keysi. Sunday and the last day of the seminar finally came and after four hours of training and learning new techniques we, the instructors, ended up saying our farewells to each other.
What a magnificent weekend it was, packed with knowledge, enthusiasm, passion, sweat and laughs. Would like to say a big thank you to the instructors that supported and helped me Robert, Scott and Peter and express my gratitude to the Milton Keynes team that was there on my side to support me on Saturday. Probably you are wondering why have I choose Keysi? Well I can help you with an answer there ?….Keysi Fighting Method by Justo Dieguez is the most real and effective form of self-defense that I have ever tried. From my first hour of training Keysi I absolutely loved it. The power, the drive and possibilities behind this method are endless. Besides being a self-defense method is also a self-growth method, a method that helps you discover your inner self, inner strength and your capabilities. I really truly recommend this fighting method to everyone , children, women and man and really wish to see more women taking advantage of this amazing self-defense method as this is a doorway towards confidence, strength and control of any situation, and believe me, I know what I’m saying. Last weekend KEYSI Instructors from all over the world visited Spain. The World Conference 2019 was a great experience for everyone! Spending time together, having fun, enjoying life, learning together, training together and developing is what KEYSI is all about !!!
